Hello Everyone and Happy New Year. I’m looking forward to what’s to come for the countdown in 2022, and I hope y’all are to. One quick announcement before we get into the countdown. If y’all haven’t seen my last post with My first personal chart, it’s now up on the blog and I’ll be posting that weekly. I also have the chart on Crownote, but due to the technical issues I experienced Yesterday I’m not 100% sure I’ll be using it to post the chart every week, I might just post it here instead. Also I know I haven’t posted Hits 1 stats yet, but I’m hoping that those will come sometime within the next week or so. It’s just a bit of a process to go through every blog post to try and find those stats, so it took Me some time to do. Also the Hitbound dropouts list is so long, and I haven’t even gotten to it yet, so it might take some time to write it out, but I promise it’ll be out soon. Biggest jump of the week: GAYLE-abcdefu(+14). This is amazing. I’m loving this song right now, so I’m very happy it jumped into the top 10 given how much AirPlay it has. I can see this possibly hitting #1 here in the coming weeks, we’ll see what happens though. 

Biggest drop of the week: Jonas Brothers-Who’s in your head(-7). I’m sad that this is dropping at a fast rate, but oh well it’s had a great run here.

I think it’s noteable to point out how much of the bottom 10 songs are just so horrible, and stupid songs. Today when Spyder introduced Do it to it, and he commented about The Squid Game thing I cringed because it was then I realized that the beat on this song sounds like the melody from a really dumb song called Squid Game(let’s play) by Alok, and whether Your a fan of the show or not I beg You not to listen to it, because it’s horrible and stupid. This is why I realize Do it to it is way worse than I initially thought it was. It’s also notable to mention that Sad girlz luv money, and I am woman held and are just taking up space here, You can say that about all of the bottom 5 songs though. I’ve also cone to the realization now that with all these horrible songs down there, that I can at least say that Need to know is now less annoying then any of them, and that’s shocking cuz it used to My worst countdown song. Funny how that happens.

Smokin out the window, and Ghost town made decent sized jumps this week, which is good cuz I love them both and it’s great that they’re both getting success here. 

On a not so good note though both I feel good, and Moth to a flame dropped, which sucks cuz I love both of them so much. Moth to a flame just won’t stop getting better with every listen. On that note though at least One right now is in the top 10 though. 

It’s also worthy to point out that Traitor barely got any AirPlay this week(at least from what I saw) so I don’t know how it’s not lower than it already is. 

Shivers held #1 again for the 11th week in a row, cockblocking That’s what I want. Alright I think I’m done here. This is bullshit, why must Hits 1 insist on not making black rappers hit #1 unless they’re Juice wrld, or DaBaby.
