While I wasn’t physically able to listen to the countdown this weekend because of the holiday, I did get a chance to listen to Hitbound, and overall I think it was good that I didn’t get a chance to listen this week cuz this was probably the lamest countdown we’ve had all year. Debuts 

alright so not much happened this week as y’all can probably tell. There were only 2 new entrants. Bite Me Re-entered all the way in the top 10. Uhhh Ok, I guess I’ll take it, but I’m very surprised it’s in the top 10 now, Hits 1 always seems to surprise us by putting some non-singles in the top 10 though and I’m actually pretty happy about this one because it’s grown on Me quite a lot. I love Travis Barkers style of production here, and I think I’ve gotten used to Avrils voice here as a whole so overall I’ll take it, I’m just a bit surprised it re-entered this high. 

Our only Real debut this week is I am woman by Emmy Meli. Out of all the Hitbound songs they could’ve pushed they seriously had to push this one! Really come on now Hits 1, there’s better songs out there than this. I can appreciate the writing on this to an extent because it talks about how women are powerful, which is a message I would actually like to see more of in music nowadays, but her musical version of putting it together is just bad. She doesn’t sound good here, especially in the post-chorus, and I just don’t like her voice in general because it sounds like she’s a bit too high-pitched for my taste. The production here doesn’t help either cuz it’s just very bland and boring. Lyrically like I already said I can respect this but one thing I don’t like about it is that the lyrics are I am this or I am that for what almost feels like the whole song, so because of that it gets boring very quickly. Overall great message and writing just not very good musical creation though. 

Yeah so no best debut this week. 

Biggest jump of the week: Juice wrld/Justin Beiber-Wandered to L.A(+4) Wow this was not a big jump, but I’ll definitely take it cuz I’m loving this song right now. I’ve literally been non-stop listening to it now since it came out about 3 weeks ago so honestly it kinda makes Me feel like it’s gonna be the Senorita of 2022 cuz everyone who know Me personally knows that I never stopped listening to that song after it was released, so this song kinda is doing what that song did to me right now, and I’m very happy that it’s moving up on the countdown. Let’s hope Juice and Beiber can actually get another #1 for each of themselves in 2022. 

Biggest drop of the week: The Kid Laroi/Justin Beiber-Stay(-5) LMAO Beiber got both the biggest jump and biggest drop this week. I’m very glad this song has stuck around though and that it wasn’t booted right after it was #1. Literally My first blog post was the week that this song first hit #1, awwww the memories. This will probably be gone next week but at least they kept it around for longer than usual and it will truly be missed when it’s gone.

Our only debut this week is a song called Hands on You from someone named Austin George. This is actually pretty good. Austin sounds pretty good throughout it and the beat is really nice, and has a great vibe to it. Lyrically it’s catchy also, so overall not bad. 

It’ll be Okay re-entered Hitbound. I’m glad it’s still here, but come on why did it not stay on the countdown. I’d rather have this then I am woman on there. 

Once again we have another really stupid week where Bite Me, I am woman, abcdefu, Wandered to L.A, Male fantasy and Ghost town aired both the countdown and Hitbound. This is so dumb is there really any reason to air Hitbound anymore if half the songs there are gonna show up on the countdown. 

If You haven’t noticed yet I’m starting to grow into Have mercy. 

The only Hitbound exit was 2011, and while it wasn’t gonna become a big hit I would’ve loved to see it debut, I thought Hits 1 loved 5 seconds of summer.

At this point I’m removing Papas from the list because it’s losing traction everywhere else so at this point in time I don’t see it debuting. Hits 1 also just hates Latin music in general to so this is no surprise. 

There is literally nothing to blurb about this week. It was so boring and I think I talked about most of the songs in the blurbs last week. The only things I’ll talk about are the exits which were It’ll be Okay which is back on Hitbound and I’ve already talked about enough, and My universe which left from the top 10. I don’t see any reason why it should’ve been removed from that high up but it will definitely be missed by Me cuz it got booted right as I was starting to grow on it more. Seriously Hits 1.
