Schedule for Year-end posts

 Hello Everyone what’s up. I can’t believe it’s almost the end of 2021. Of course with the end of the year comes year-end posts, and I just wanted to update y’all and put out my tentative schedule for this years year-end posts. First though before we get into that, I just wanted to say I’m so sorry for what happened with my post the other day I have literally no clue how I actually deleted the whole thing, but hopefully it doesn’t happen again. I think to fix that I’m gonna end up putting out a new post when I’m off for Thanksgiving break on Wednesday. The post won’t be as it usually is though because of the fact that the countdown airs on Thursday this week, so in the post I’ll be reviewing mainly the countdown debuts(which were a lot of songs that debuted Hitbound last week) and I’ll also review the Hitbound debuts and the biggest jumps/drops from the countdown as I usually do. I also have lots of new opinions on some songs so it’ll be an interesting post. Usually I would do the full countdown but since I’m a bit short on time due to the holiday and schoolwork this is the best I can do to make it up. Plus I’d rather not have to do it in next weeks post because it would just give me more songs to review plus some songs that debuted Hitbound this week could potentially leave next week(You never know what could happen with Hits 1 these days) so I’m also doing this to kinda prevent that from happening because what’s really the point in reviewing a song if it does drop out of Hitbound this week? There really is none, and while I’m 100% confident I wouldn’t end up in a situation like that where a debut does leave Hitbound after only a week, I’d just take the safe route and rather have that not potentially limit me from reviewing a song or songs even if I don’t like them. Finally I know a lot of bloggers don’t do this that often now but since the countdown will be airing only a day after this post will be out I’ll go ahead and throw in some predictions for the countdown this week, just for fun because pretty much the voting period and the Hit-Maker 5 will be over by then so it’ll be pretty much easier to predict what’ll happen, although I’m not expecting to get things 100% right though because like I said before this is Hits 1 where they throw curveballs at us all the time, so technically you can’t be 100% accurate all the time. I’ve been seeing an interesting pattern though with debuts and countdown moves and positions though and I’ll explain more about that in my next post, but right now let’s just get to the year-end Schedule. 

Alright so I know there’s a lot of different people who come here both from Blogger and my Instagram and I’m gonna be splitting up how I get everything out to everyone this year since I’m now on blogger, so If anyone from my Instagram remembers how I did my top 40 last year with the story audio I revealed 10 songs at a time(because 40 is way too many for me to review in one night and because it’s too many for people to have to scroll through) so I’ll be doing it again that way this year. Now Ive never gotten people complaining if they miss my reviews there which is great so I’m just gonna put it as plain and simple to everyone out there who does happen to follow me on there DON’T come bitching to me if You somehow don’t see a song or a few songs on there that You maybe missed and couldn’t see just because my story disappeared before you got to it. If You do happen to miss anything well then Wa-La folks it’ll be right here on this blog, but to make it fair enough so I don’t spoil my #1 song for anyone over On Instagram I’m gonna put out a schedule and do the audio reviews overs there before I put my post up here, so you can go check out the reviews  before If you are curious, but if for some reason You do miss anything over there y’all can Come here after I reveal everything and the whole list will be here along with my opinions of each song.

Alright so blogger is a whole other thing now. A few weeks ago I put out a post explaining what year end posts I’ll have here and the criteria for songs to make each list. If you haven’t checked that out yet here’s the link to that post,

Now I can’t give exact dates on when some of these posts will be out yet just because of the fact that I have a life outside of this blog and that life is kinda unpredictable sometimes. My last day of school is December 9th and I don’t go back until January 10th so I have a solid month off, but of course I won’t be decorating my whole time to the year end posts during that month. Besides Christmas and New Years I have other things I’d rather do during my break like hanging out with my friends and family. I’m usually doing stuff with my friends on Friday’s since technically it’s my off-day from school and that’s the reason why usually I don’t listen to Hitbound when it’s live, so while I’d like to get some of these posts out on Fridays I can’t say I can because I can’t just predict what I’ll be doing those days, but I’ll give y’all a range of dates to which I’ll probably get these posts out. Please don’t hold me to it as life sometimes does hold us up like I just said but here’s the tentative list. 

Top 10 worst songs of the year-Sometime between December 10th-13th 

My top 40 songs of the year-somewhere between December 17th-20th 

Hits 1s top 30 of 2021-I literally have no clue when this airs(and with my luck it’ll probably air on Christmas Day) so I’d say between Christmas and New Years. 

Hits 1 year end stats-New years eve or shortly after New Years. 

Again don’t hold to it because life can get in the way, especially when it comes to the last 2 posts since both Christmas and New Years are on Saturday’s this year. I will also be posting weekend countdown reviews during all this time, but to my Instagrams out there remember I don’t do December Hitbound reviews since any songs that will debut in December usually don’t make the countdown or don’t debut until January, so if songs debut on January there’s really no reason to review them because some songs that do debut then end up shaping what the year will look like for Hits 1 and for other radio stations in general so it’s nice to have a fresh new start In January anyways.
