Debuts
Both the debuts this week come from off abyss(that’s really really shocking!) The first one is Angel baby by Troye Sivan. This song isn’t bad. Troye sounds awesome here, and I really love the beat, I can tell it’s very 80s inspired. The romantic lyrics here are really good to and they just fit in well with the vibe, and they’re really catchy. Overall really good debut.
The highest debut(which wasn’t really that high) is from our new one to watch by NEIKED, Mae Muller and Polo G, and someone remind me who’s the one to watch here is it just Mae Muller, is it NEIKED or is it both or all 3 of these artists. Anyways I didn’t have an opinion on this song last week because I hadn’t gotten around to listening to it, but I finally did and I love it. Mae Muller sounds good here, and I love the addition of Polo G he’s such a good rapper and has some pretty decent and catchy flow here. The production from NEIKED is really good to, it’s very disco-ee and once again I feel like it’s 80s influenced. This is awesome, let’s see what it can do here.
Best debut; of the week: NEIKED/Mae Muller/Polo G-Better days
Biggest jump of the week; Lil Nas X-That’s what I want(+6) Yay this got a rebound this week. I’ve really been enjoying this so I’m happy this jumped big.
Biggest drop of the week: Dua Lipa-Love again(-12) I really though this song would last longer, but it’s getting a bit old I guess, so I’m fine with it. I will definitely miss it when it leaves though.

Debuts
Alright I’m so excited to be reviewing this weeks Hitbound because some of my favorite artists have songs debuting. First we have Khalid, who’s brining us what I believe is his next single off his new album titled Everything is changing. This week we have present, and it’s pretty solid. The beat is very good here and well produced, and Khalid sounds good. The only thing I’ll be picky about with this is that it’s a bit short, but of course I can’t ask for all songs to 4 minutiae or longer, so that’s alright. Overall not bad.
Next we have Ed Sheeran, who’s bringing us my new favorite song this week with Overpass Graffiti from his new album Equals(=) which just dropped yesterday. This song is amazing. I really like the production here and once again I feel like this has a lot of 80s influence to it. Ed sounds really good throughout the song and the lyrics are really nice to, overall I’d love to see this debut. Next.
Alright we got one bad song to talk about before we get back to the artists I like, so let’s get it over with. Oliver Tree is bringing us Life goes on this week. What the fuck is this. The production here is overly weird, and Oliver just does not slind good at all here. Let’s also add the lyrics, they get really repetitive especially in the chorus and post-chorus wheee he repeats the same damn line like 20 times. It’s so annoying. Hopefully this won’t debut.
Alright back to positivity now and Oh my God we have a new song from Regard, and now I feel like I need to give everyone a big fat lecture on who this guy is, because a lot of people probably are asking who the hell is this dude. He’s a house producer from a landlocked European country called Kosovo, which is right next to Albania I believe(I might have to double check that) but anyways this guy is from that country, which is cool because I’ve never heard anyone from that country getting a big U.S or U.K radio hit before so way to go for this dude. As for his stage name, I don’t even know what it means, but I’ll take it because I really seem to like this guys music. His song titled You is probably going to be my #1 song of the year as it’s one of my favorites(of course we’ll see what happens and more info to come on my top 40 of the year later) for right now though let’s jump into his new song called Signals with vocalist Kwabs(pronounced Kwobs) this reminds me a lot about a song from 2019 by Calvin Harris and Rag’n’bone man called Giant, and if your reading this and your one of my friends from my old high school who maybe came to the blog from my IG, maybe you remember Giant because despite it not being a hit I actually put it on the playlist for a dance one year and everyone seemed to really like it, anyways this song remind me of that song because Kwobs has a very deep voice like Rag’n’bone Man did on that song. The only is that this song is more bassey. The house beat from Regard is really great and I love the buildup and Kwobs is actually not that bad. The lyrics are all catchy to I actually could tell what the hell he was saying even with his very thick deep British Accent. I feel like the song overall could be a bit longer, but overall it’s awesome. I’m hoping for it to become a hit.
As for the Hitbound exits we have Bad day, giving into the love, The real thing and One day. Here’s what I’ll say about the first 3, Don’t care, don’t care and don’t care. As for One day it’s in the abyss since it’s now starting to get spins, You can see the full list of abyss songs below.

Blurbs
Hahahahaha. Nice to see Edamame drop to the bottom on its 2bd week.
Hurricane got a boost this week, which is awesome cuz I’m loving this song.
Why is Meet Me at our spot jumping. I swear this song gets more annoying with every listen.
Nice to see Giveon getting some success here.
Oh my God why the fuck is Beggin at #14 it’s been at the top of the AirPlay chart this week. It really sucks to see this not be top 5 because it really should be. If you wanna see something funny I did with a bit of the instrumental of this song head over to my Instagram meme page treyz.memes, and you’ll find a little edit I did for this song this past week, while I put a spin on the To be continued meme from JoJos Bizare adventure(I do not watch that show by the way, it was just in an episode of family guy so of course I saw it cuz I love that show) back to music now.
That’s what I want jumped. Which is awesome.
Who’s in your head is now top 10, awesome.
A-O-K got a rebound which is great.
Stay was bound to drop at some point. At least it got success here though.
Industry baby is still at #5(insert facepalm here)
Easy on me is at #4. I really do think this will be #1 next week.
Speaking of #1 we once again have Ed Sheerans songs Shivers, and I’d like to say Get well soon Ed(even if your not viewing this) because I know that Ed got COVID recently, which really sucks especially when it was when his new album dropped, so well wishes to him on a full recovery and yeah this song is still #1 and I don’t mind at all.
As for the exits we lost Sheesh! And Good 4 u. As for Sheesh! it was a good song and deserved better, but I get it, it wasn’t a hit nor was it ever gonna be. As for Good 4 u, it’s probably gonna be Hits 1s #1 song of the year, and I’m sad to see it go but at least it lasted for a long time and spent 9 weeks at #1.
#1 recommendation for Hits 1; Justin Beiber/Troyboi-Red eye
Leave y’all’s favorite and least favorite picks from the countdown and Hitbound in the comments and I’ll respond.
