 Hello everyone, my name is Trey and welcome to my blog. I’ll be using this to review the SiriusXM hits 1 weekend countdown and Hitbound every week. 


A little bit about me and how I got into Hits1 

I’m 19 years old and live in Florida and am in my sophomore year of collage. I started following hits 1 in 2015 while on a trip visiting family on the west coast. I didn’t even know SiriusXM existed back then and I found it interesting that the station did a countdown every week. In 2016 my parents got a car with a free trial of Sirius and we decided we loved it and we loved the music hits 1 played so we kept it for 2 years until 2018 when the subscription became a bit too pricey and we decided to cancel it. Since then I found Adrians hits 1 blog and started following it weekly to see what went on during the countdown each week. I’d listen to new songs on Apple Music in my free time and would form opinions on them based on how I liked the elements of the song and I would color coat them in my head like Adrian did on his blog. Eventually this lead me to create a year end chart at the end of 2018 and in the years to come the same thing followed. In 2019 while I was bored during the summer I drew inspiration and created a public Instagram page where I’d review Hitbound once a month and the countdown once a year on my story, but I’d like to take that a bit farther. With that in mind I’ve decided to start this blog and review the countdown this way every week, so that I can join the hits 1 community even more, and so that my Instagram followers can follow along the countdown and Hitbound with me when I’m not posting the monthly reviews on there. I hope everyone here in the Hits 1 community welcomes me and joins me on this musical journey every week. I’ll be making my first countdown post very soon.

    Good to have you. If you want one piece of advice, it would be to not get discouraged by things like views or how you think your writing seems. When I look back at my very old posts, I realize just how bad my writing was at that point, but I kept going and have since improved a lot. Hope you enjoy doing this and become one of the four of us that post the Countdown consistently. No pressure though.

Tiesto/Tate McRae(6): Week of April, 29th 2023

  Hello everyone and what’s up? I’m sorry this post is very late for me, but I’ve had a busy week this week with exams and celebrating the end of the semester plus a few birthdays. I’m happy to announce that I’m now done with school though and I’m off for a month and a half before I start two 6 week courses for Summer credits. Before we get into this weeks countdown though I have a few announcements. First, I will be gone May 12th-21st, so I won’t be reviewing the countdowns for the weeks of May 13th and May 20th in full, so I’ll catch up when I get back. Second I have some interest myself in hosting a rankdown. I was thinking it would be one for my top 40 songs of 2022. As y’all may know there were a lot of interesting songs on that list, and so I thought it’d be interesting to a rankdown for, so let me know what y’all think about that idea down in the comments or on Discord. Wow, this community is deserted. Why did I leave all of sudden with no word

  Hello there, is there still anyone  viewing this thing? Oh wait I’ve got some comments on a recent post of mine asking where I’ve been lately. Is he dead someone asks? No I’m not dead, lol, but I’ve been really distant from this place lately. I haven’t been posting the weekend countdown in 4 months(almost 5). shouldn’t I be doing that here every week? I should be, but I haven’t been. I guess this is the perfect time for an explanation.  First off, what happened here though? Like no one’s posting anything except for Hippo? ZestPond quit recently, I miss him and his blog already. What happened to the mice little community that reviewed Hits 1 every week that started back in 2013?
