  2023’s album of the Summer: Album Revuew, The Chainsmokers: Summertime Friends  Hello everyone and what’s up? I’m back today to review some good ole music, but not just any boring mainstream countdown of course, you probably saw this post coming at some point, but probably not as soon as you expected it to, alas though they’re baaaaaaaaaack! Drew Taggart and Alex Pall aka The Chainsmokers, also my favorite band of all time, have just released a new album 2 days before my 22nd birthday(awesome early gift) and I’m here to review it today, it’s strikingly different in both good and not so good ways than their previous albums, but I’ll get into more details below, if you guys haven’t heard why I love The Chainsmokers yet, go check out my post from May 2022 which was my review of their album So Far So Good, and I pretty much Sun up how they became my favorite band there, but I will say that I’ve always loved the storylines and writing in their songs and my god they hit hard as a motherfuc

Wow, this community is deserted. Why did I leave all of sudden with no word

  Hello there, is there still anyone  viewing this thing? Oh wait I’ve got some comments on a recent post of mine asking where I’ve been lately. Is he dead someone asks? No I’m not dead, lol, but I’ve been really distant from this place lately. I haven’t been posting the weekend countdown in 4 months(almost 5). shouldn’t I be doing that here every week? I should be, but I haven’t been. I guess this is the perfect time for an explanation.  First off, what happened here though? Like no one’s posting anything except for Hippo? ZestPond quit recently, I miss him and his blog already. What happened to the mice little community that reviewed Hits 1 every week that started back in 2013? Even Waffle has been distant.  Damn, I’ve missed a lot. I guess let’s get into why.  First off please note that this is for a combination of both music reasons and personal reasons.  Y’all know from previous posts that the first few months of 2023 did not treat me very well. Tiesto/Tate McRae(6): Week of April, 29th 2023

  Hello everyone and what’s up? I’m sorry this post is very late for me, but I’ve had a busy week this week with exams and celebrating the end of the semester plus a few birthdays. I’m happy to announce that I’m now done with school though and I’m off for a month and a half before I start two 6 week courses for Summer credits. Before we get into this weeks countdown though I have a few announcements. First, I will be gone May 12th-21st, so I won’t be reviewing the countdowns for the weeks of May 13th and May 20th in full, so I’ll catch up when I get back. Second I have some interest myself in hosting a rankdown. I was thinking it would be one for my top 40 songs of 2022. As y’all may know there were a lot of interesting songs on that list, and so I thought it’d be interesting to a rankdown for, so let me know what y’all think about that idea down in the comments or on Discord. Third, I’ll be finishing up on my worst list of 2022 now that I’m less busy, so look for that in the coming we
